Vegan Overnight Oats with Rose Sherbet & Cardamom
This recipe for overnight oats by Amrita Amesur takes that working-girl breakfast up a notch with a couple of luxe ingredients borrowed from her favourite dessert – the Sindhi kulfi. Featuring rose petals, and rose sherbet, sweetened with the floral notes of cardamom, and soaked overnight in Only Earth’s luscious oat milk, this is a delicious way to start the day.
Overnight Kulfi-flavoured Oats made with Only Earth Oat Milk
(Serves 1)
Ingredients
½ cup rolled oats
3/4th cup Only Earth Original Unsweetened Oat Milk
2 bashed cardamom pods
2 tsp raw sugar or preferred sweetener
1 tablespoon sabja or basil seeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon sweetened rose sherbet and another tsp to drizzle over
A handful of dried rose petals to stir in and to garnish
Method
Mix all of the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl or jar and refrigerate overnight.
Garnish with a few more dried rose petals and drizzle over a bit of rose sherbet to serve.
