6 Indian Food Blogs That Will Make You Hungry

Food blogging in India is at its most creative and exciting phase yet. On a mission to find some of the best Indian food blogs, we decided to go to people who know the food blogging world best — the bloggers themselves. We started by picking one of the oldest and best-known food bloggers in the country — Shaheen Peerbhai — and followed the breadcrumbs from there. We ended up on a food-blogger trail that we are excited to share with you — some old favourites thrown in with new, yet-to-be-discovered gems. Purple Foodie by Shaheen Peerbhai:

We love the minimalist feel of the blog. Besides being a wonderful resource for bakers (those of you in Mumbai, check out the Baking in Bombay post), Shaheen has an uncanny ability to take you with her on her travels around the world through her beautiful photographs and writing. Our favourite so far is her guide to Oaxaca, which takes you through vibrant markets in the city.

Her recipe for Spaghetti alle Vongole is simple, elegant and delicious.
