Nivaala X Goya

A Kitchen of One’s Own is a celebration of the modern Indian homecook. This book, a Goya X Nivaala collaboration, is part-cookbook, part-journal. With vivid, evocative watercolours by Zainab Tambawalla, this collector’s item designed by Nivaala, with recipes from Goya’s community, is a crowd-funded project. The book is the result of 6 years of collecting heirloom recipes from communities around the country.

We believe that the real stars of the Indian culinary story are the home cooks, and A Kitchen of One’s Own is an attempt to place them front and centre.
