Business Development & Project Manager
Location: Remote | Part-time
Job Type: Freelance / Commission-Based
Compensation: Commission-based with performance incentives

 Goya is a food media company with a publishing arm that focuses on food and culture. We work with a wide network of writers, designers, and entrepreneurs around the country, creating impact in media, journalism and e-commerce.

About the Role
We’re looking for a driven individual to join our team as a Business Development & Project Manager. This role blends strategy and execution — you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, pitching to potential clients, and seeing projects through from ideation to delivery.

Project Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients once a project is confirmed.

  • Collaborate with internal creative, production, and logistics teams to plan and execute events.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and communications end-to-end.

  • Ensure quality control and that deliverables meet client expectations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, account management, or project management — preferably in events, experiential marketing, or media.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Highly organised with attention to detail and a flair for multitasking.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working on a commission-based structure.

  • A solid network in the creative/brand/events/experiential space is a big plus.

Compensation Structure
This is a commission-based role, ideal for candidates looking for flexibility and performance-linked earnings.

  • Commission on Sales: Earn a percentage of every confirmed project you bring in.

  • Project Fee: Additional fee for managing projects, depending on scope and involvement.
